You all must be wondering who Krishna is from one of my posts.Many are surely wondering why one must chant his name to attain salvation.

Krishna

is the Supreme Personality of Godhead.He is the supreme person who is responsible for creation and anhilliation of this universe.None can equal or excel his position.It is he to whom everyone has to surrender to.The very word Krishna means "all-attractive".He is also reffered to as purusottama or the supreme person.He has many i ncarnations and his recent incarnation,the all merciful Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu introduced this hari nama japa to the entire world 500 years ago.

So, only by surrendering to Krishna,one can become free from these repeated cycles of birth and death.

And one can surrender to Krishna by chanting these 16 words
