Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (1486-1535)is the founder of this Krishna consciousness movement.He is none
other than the supreme personality of godhead Sri Krishna himself who descended onto this material world
as his own devotee to spread this message of Krishna and thought to the world the most important
process for spiritual advancement for this fallen age ie Hari nama japa (congregational chanting of the Lord's names).So it is important to surrender to him and most importantly practice Hari nama japa to attain the highest goal of life (ie)liberation from repeated birth and death.
